They should have asked you for some advice before hand. Maybe build a robot army of their own.
So some people had the great idea that best way to deal with the Grimm would be to have a handle on everyone's emotions. There was a decree in two kingdoms to destroy all forms of art and self expression.
That eventually led to them trying to invade the other two kingdoms. It ended up being a disaster.
We're all named after a colour these days in memory of what happened.

It didn't fly in Vale or Vacuo either. You guys have like a holiday for pretty much everything though, so I could totally see you guys being up in arms about it too. Of course all the fighting just got worse because Grimm got involved too. Nothing like stopping mid-fight to fight monsters before you go back to fighting each other.
It's a team thing too. Team names are supposed to represent a colour as well. Probably because Huntsmen and Huntresses were established after the war as well. They're a more recent thing. Like 3 or four generations now.

Ugh please don't remind me about the endless holidays. It's nice being in a place that doesn't have a street party every week because they're celebrating the day someone found a penny or whatever. Yeah, that's TRUE. A war in a world where creatures that are attracted to negative emotions can show up at any time seems like a bad idea.
That makes sense when you think about it. The aftermath of a war would have created more Grimm. They would have needed something in place in order to deal with them all, right?

I'm all for celebrating the little things in life but there isn't much you can do with a penny. Most stores that do like single pieces of candy are at least 5 cents a pop.
I think that's why we don't see too many of them. Even if there's talk about them these days.
That was the idea. Huntsmen were made to be separate from the army or police force and they're not meant to be stuck working for one kingdom. They're supposed to be able to go where they're needed most and help out. Not all of the kingdoms treat hem like that but it's definitely a nice ideal to work toward.

That's the idea! It also encourages us to go and protect the outlying villages between kingdoms too.
All of them want us around. Just Atlas' Huntsmen Academy is directly linked to their military. It's the only kingdom that does that and they try to scoop up their graduates with special positions there. It's not a very well liked take on the whole thing.

I think generally you leave that sort of thing for the people in charge. Or at least trust them to get the right sort of advisors to help them make the right decisions to change things.

Yeah. You have to have the right team supporting you to make sure things work out for the best. The kingdoms generally run on a council system so it's not just one person making the decision there. So no one should be able to just fly off the rails and do what they want.
