It's twofold. Creating a pair of cybernetic legs that would be interchangeable with the ones I have now as well as a prosthetic arm for my brother. He can change size and the one he has right now is too cumbersome for his smaller form.

[He trusted Varian enough to know he wouldn't blab about any of this to anyone. This was all strictly confidential information. He sends a sketch of what kind of legs he desires with the claw feet and a pic of the arm his brother is currently using.]

YES!! I can definitely do that!! I've been improving my own leg since I first made it. I think I could do something very much like what you need here.

I might be able to put some mechanics into your brother's arm so it can change size with him? How does he change size? Magic? Or some sort of chemical induction?

It is a medallion he wears that allows him to change, seemingly at will from 6'2" to 7'1", though we aren't sure as to the specifics entirely yet.

Well, if it's an enchanted object I might be able to work with it. That's a lot easier than just a spell. If he's willing for me to study it, I might be able to get it to work with the arm.

I can get him to stand still for you to look it over-- [He'll grab a stepstool for Varian to use.] --but getting him to take it off might be more difficult. He's very protective of and attached to it.

I think I heard you talking to him when I first introduced him on the network. What do you think of him? I am trying to encourage him to make friends but it is slow going.

[Unfortunately, Maul and the big lunkhead were a big codependent on each after the lives they'd had. It meant Savage liked to stay extra close to him at all times.]

He seems okay. A little less emotional than you. He seems pretty stand-offish, maybe you should throw him at someone like Usagi or Ruby who would relentlessly befriend him and wear him down until he just accepts it?

I believe Usagi is on that track of thought with him. She sort of seemed to.....break him when they were speaking.

But so long as they don't annoy him to the point of violence, I am sure some aggressive friendship might be just what he needs.

Now that I can entirely believe. I have no defenses against such people. They are terrible and seem to be drawn to me like iron filings to a magnet.

I think they just really want to give people who haven't got anyone someone they can lean on. That's just the sort of people they are.

On that I can agree. Before I came here, I had no one except my brother and my mother. It was always me versus the entire galaxy.
