[Varian is very impressed by the display, he has zero sword skills- it's always cool to see what people can do with theirs. ]

Something like that. It was kept among a group of Mandalorians called Death Watch until I defeated their leader and it became my right to wield it.

Not that I can see. When I've wielded both of them in battle, they seem equal. It appears more of what sets the Darksaber apart is its general aesthetic.
