[The wing covering them is extremely comforting, and Varian makes a soft, happy sound in the back of his throat, snuggling in close. This was nice.]

Yeah, I don't mind this at all. This is miles better than spending the full moon by myself. It's... nice having you all to myself.

[Because they do have extremely busy lives they need to attend to when the full moon isn't happening. There's always so much to juggle, so much to think about. Here? They don't need to think about anything but each other, and that's deeply pleasant. Especially now he knows he can keep his mind while it's happening. It means they can just have a little monthly break from everything. ]

...I think I can finally look forward to these.

[Jun meanwhile gives a bit of a purr as he continues to nuzzle Varian]

Mm, it's much better than doing it alone. [He starts planting a few lazy kisses on Varian's jawline

He does open his eyes to look up at Varian when he says that last bit. He knows what that means. Lovingly, he'll reach up to brush against the tips of Varian ear.]

That makes me really happy to hear. [He didn't want Varian to feel scared every month, to fear himself] Enjoy your freedom, Var. I think you'll find there's quite a lot to like.

Being by myself was... pretty miserable. I didn't really have anything to anchor myself too, and I guess that make the whole process a lot worse.

[And so he never got to remain himself. This is the first time he's really spent the full moon with someone properly, and it's made the world of difference. Though he's sure the heat and being with Jun definitely had no small part in that.

A contented noise rumbles out of his chest as he tilts his head, giving Jun better access to his jaw. His own hands idly play with the hair on the back of Jun's head, occasionally sliding up to stroke those ears gently. ]

Yeah... Yeah I really think there is. Thank you for being here for this... I definitely wouldn't have got here on my own.
