Of course I was. I said from the start, I didn't want anyone to be hurt by this. That wasn't my intention at any point.

But you didn't think much about the harm that it could do, did you? I mean, this world has a lot of smart people in it. Some smarter than you, and even more shocking - smarter than yours truly! And even though they've known about the Spirit Realm for years and years, no one's making portals. Not even Zodiac, who you know would jump at the chance to be able to reliably mine other worlds of their resources.
Did it ever occur to you that maybe there was a reason for that? Or were you too busy thinking about accomplishing something to have that thought occur to you?

No, it didn't. I've been used to being the person that gets this sort of thing done. It's- it's my place back home it's my- [penance] duty. I guess I got wrapped up in that mindset and didn't think about why there wasn't a way out of here, just that there wasn't.

Well, you're not the first person to make a colossal mistake because you didn't think your good intentions through, and you won't be the last. Least this is just some dinosaurs. [Could've been worse, so much worse]
Sounds like you already got step "try to fix this mistake" down, but once we're not to our eyeballs in lizards, I suggest taking some time to figure out what lessons you can take from all this. Doing more background research on previous attempts of whatever you're trying to do, for instance.

Still, Zelos is making a good point. He's not had much chance to stop and think before now. After his redemption back home he hit the ground running trying to help deal with the threat Zhan Tiri and Cass presented, and after that, he focussed on getting the hot water running.
He hasn't given himself time to stop and think before. ]
I'll see if I can get any information from Zodiac...assuming they want to talk to me after this. But yeah...I know I needed to have done this before now. Hindsight...and everything.
