[Ruby thinks on that briefly and frowns. It was a little sad to think about it like that. She was sure her world wasn't much different, they had likely lost so much in the Great War but it was over shadowed by how far their technology had become since then.]

Well hey. At the very least we have you around to remember it. It's not really gone and as long that's the case. Maybe someone else will come around that'd rather do it the old way too.

[She watches carefully as he works. Happy to see that while he isn't at one hundred percent he's still managing the work just fine. She keeps a hand on the drawer and moves to gather up some of the inner shelf pieces with her free hand.]

Three months? ...That is a long time.

[She couldn't imagine going through something like. Or having to watch as one of the people she cared for went through it.

He's trying to look out for you. Which is great, but he can't keep doing that to himself. I know he'll probably act like I'm trying to look after everyone if I just try and take it off his shoulders. But maybe some team work and some outside help will get him to ease up a little.
