Who couldn't love a tiny feral alchemist with a dark past? Sure, he's a little rough around the edges, but he will think you shine like a carbon allotrope. He will stick to you like cyanoacrylate and you'll feel the electricity flowing between you like a galvanic cell. Be the acid to his litmus paper and turn him bright red when he finds you more attractive than francium. He must be made of copper and tellurium because he's a CuTe.

it's even more confusing now

There are so many more science puns now. So many. And more pictures? Where is she getting the pictures from?
no subject
mine's got new pictures too
yours are a lot nicer
are those seriously science puns and not just a bunch of random letters smashes together?
no subject
[Well, that was a disaster. He's just gonna... breeze past that.]
They are all definitely science puns, yes. Mostly chemisty ones.
no subject
dog they look fake
can you explain all of them?
no subject
They're not fake, they're real things. I told you about the carbon allotrope twice now. I'm not doing that one again. But sure, okay, science lesson with Varian on his awful, awful dating profile, why not. I'm gonna use small words:
- Cyanoacrylate - It's glue. It's literally glue.
- Galvanic cell - It's a cell that can generate electricity. Kind of. It's complicated and it involves even more complicated processes and bigger words. I think she means there will be sparks.
God I hate this.
- Litmus paper turns red when it's dipped in acid.
- Francium is an element that attracts a lot of electrons. It's actually super dangerous but I think she means the other kind of attractive.
- The periodic symbol for Copper is Cu the symbol for Tellurium is Te. Put them together and you get CuTe. Like "cutie" har har har.
Thus concludes the most awkward science lesson ever.

those are really funny
your profile is pretty clever

Well. That's there.
And yeah. I guess it is pretty funny. Very science-y at least.
no subject
He's... got mixed feelings, here.]
yeeep it is
sorry man
yeah
so you've got some good science puns and some nice photos
that's not so bad right?
no subject
It's okay. I don't mind.
I mean. I'd rather it didn't exist at all? I don't need a dating profile. I bearly have a grasp on any of this already as you well know.
no subject
that's valid
i'd delete mine if i could

and who knows, maybe there are some people around here with more embarrassing ones than ours

[He is desperately hoping that's the case, at least.]

[Naturally, he's going to go looking. Naturally. ]
Look at Mako's!
no subject
ok yeah that one's pretty bad
wait
did he seriously date all his friends?
no subject
no subject
and Wu
and someone named Asami?
he never mentioned dating any of them, but if that profile is true....
no subject
[He vaguely remembers that being a thing.]
Mako always comes across as kind of socially awkward. But maybe he's secretly really good at dating?
no subject
really cool
maybe?
i remember Wu said he wasn't sure if he was friends with Mako
maybe they had a bad break up or something
or Mako just like
dating all of them?
no subject
[His track record with kings isn't... great.]
Oh wow. Maybe? That would make sense. That feeling. I never really thought to ask Mako about this love life before. Maybe he DID date all of them.
no subject
i never did either
for him or Wu or Korra, when she was here
dang i bet he did
he's a handsome guy and he's got sick fire powers
no subject
Yeah, I guess so. Maybe he really is a dark horse. If that's the case, he'll probably find someone to date in town in no time flat. And hey, it IS still a worse Deerlybloeved than either of ours.
