It was smart of her, to fall back. There's a fft-oing of a spring as an alchemy ball launches across the room, hitting the opposite wall and smashing. Unfortunately for Ruby, it's a smoke bomb, so the room swiftly starts to fill with pretty magenta smoke.
There's a noise from the kitchen that sounds like (and, if she investigates turns out is) a portly raccoon pulling himself through the catflap to try and rummage around for food. Is he part of the trap? No. He wants no part in this madness. ]
