hey Varian! it's Belle. Do you take commissions? Harumasa's birthday is coming up, and I've got an idea what I want to give him, but I'm not someone who's very good at making things.

We once watched a movie called Last Flight together. (I have a copy at Random Play, you guys can rent it sometime.) The plane model in it is...similar to other models I've found on the Internet, but not quite the same.

I guess what I'm asking for is, can you make a toy of some kind that looks like the plane in that movie? I can send along a folder of screencaps I took if you need references.

Oh, I haven't seen that one! Which... not unusual for me honestly, but sure! Jun and I can have a movie night and enjoy it.

[And as soon as Varian sees it, he will realise just how Down Bad Belle is for his brother in law. The poor, poor girl. ]

But sure! That should be a pretty easy build. Screenshots would be a big help. Do you want it stationary or do you want it to be able to fly? I can do either, but adding an engine and flight capabilities would be a little pricier just because of the extra work and parts.

I'll splurge and get the flight capabilities, sure. Take the time you need! I don't mind it being late, I can buy him a birthday cake and tell him his real gift is a surprise on its way.

Don't worry, two weeks is definitely enough time to build a flight-capable airplane model. [ Varian would take two weeks to build a flight capable AIRPLANE full stop. ] Send me your screenshots and I'll price it up and send you a bill. I can't see it being too complex, so no need to worry.

It's okay, I had to figure that one out for college. But yeah, I can make this no problem. I'll make a little remote control so he can fly it, too. I can do it for $60 - seen as it's for a family member and all.
