I mean. If say, someone was trying to blow up like, THE ENTIRE TOWN and you were the only person who could stop that. And then you did. Also kind of maybe tried to turn it into a suicide mission but apparently THAT'S not acceptable. So you get to live through that. And get like pardoned and stuff for stopping the thing from murdering literally everyone. Sometimes that can happen.

But also the people you saved still kind of hate you but then you save them again from magical nightmare rocks that literally bring their worst fears to life and getting rid of that apparently negates all the bad things you did because people are fickle. Also sometimes happens.
