While she was away, she learned a magical ability to free my dad. She did that and... let me stay out of prison. I spent the rest of my time doing everything I could to help her and the Kingdom. I just... I don't know, I wanted to balance things out again. Put good into the world after putting in so much bad. I got to save the Kingdom a couple of times and eventually the people of Corona stopped outright hating me.

[ He frowns, looking at his hands. ]

I hated myself for a really, really long time after that. Honestly, there are times when I still do. But it's better than it used to be. Yay, therapy.
